I recently read this book called: Aghora-At the Left hand of God by Robert E. Svoboda.
I found this book to be fascinating in terms of various messages that I could get from the writings of Robert E. Svoboda. As per him (Robert) this is the " written record" of the oral communication that he had with his "Guru" during the time they stayed together.
Some of the messages that I liked from this book are related to the choice of a Guru one can have, the inherent talents that you are born with and how you can carry out your “Karmas” without taking "in" any "more" Karmic debts so as to prevent the possibility of a next life.
I learned from the study of this book that “Nature” itself can be your “ultimate Guru” if you choose to listen to it. Further the truth is that you are born with some “inherent talents” accumulated over your past life(s) and these talents can decide your path for this life time. Finally the Mantra to achieve total liberation and Moksha “rests” in our ability to carry out "our work" in this life without accumulating any more Karmic debts. This can be done with the practice of being attached to the worldly things but still remaining supremely detached at the highest plane.
